This would be a valid post if Dierry Jean were perceived as one of TC's best opponents. But even at the time there was the sense that Crawford was marking time and needed to step up his comp a bit. So this thread fails.

Farenas lost that fight wide to Gamboa, btw. He, like many others was able to put Gamboa down...But only TC was able to keep him there. So...Yeah. There's that, isn't there.

 

Crawford hasn't fought much in terms of viable opposition.

 

Terence Crawford is legit, you can't deny that regardless of agenda. He can box and fight.
I agree, I don't rate his opposition much either. Gamboa at LW was underwhelming, glad he's moving back to 130lbs - he'd be a beast there.
Postol is a legit win, though.

 

No **** before the fight Crawford was ducking postol after the fight Crawford is boring he ran and postol is a bum.

Crawford has a couple of good wins and I think he should look to welterweight. I would like to see him against anyone at 147.

 

he fight decent comp. you cant complain . the postol fight says alot. and even the guys hes been fed are strong guys.

maybe orozco or watever the his name but that guy is a very strong fighter as well and he can compete wit crawford.

 

Lets just say I expect Crawford to only be fighting top names from here on out. At lightweight, Gamboa, Beltran, and Dulorme were decent wins. At 140 Postol was a good win. I'd like to see Crawford fight Broner. I don't think he'd have much trouble with Provodnikov types like Lipinets or Troyanovsky. I'd like to see if he could compete with the guys at welter as well.

 

Why he just got to 140 from 135. What's the rush? He goes up to 147 to fight who at Top Rank, Tim Bradley and ????
Top Rank has a great crop of guys that are not big names yet but have consistent wins that fight alot out here in California.
The Broner fight could be made but dumb, dumb turned down Pacquiao with Haymon's blessing so how can Crawford get his fat ass in the ring?

 

Why blame Haymon for that? He can't make the fighter fight.
