Hearns puts Crawford to sleep in about 3 rounds maybe less.

Bud reminds me of James Shuler, untill he faced Hearns he'd never been beat @ 26 years he passed away.Shuler, not many talk about but was held in high regard in the 1980s.

But he stopped them. It wasn't 12 rounds with a guy who is 20 lbs lighter.

So Crawford coming from 130 to 135 to 140 to 147 is less impressive than Hearns going from 147 to 165? Hearns was 6 foot tall and he had the frame to put on weight

Top 5 v Hearns & the Top 5 v Crawford Don't compare also in the 80s Hearns fights were 15 rounds.

I think you should just quit here, you're on a hiding to nothing pal.

Hearns is one of the very few fighters in history that made other fighters great just by losing to them (SRL, Hagler), How many other fighters in boxing history can say that? Yes Tommy lost but let's break it down here. Lost to SRL and Hagler (undisputed ATG fighters). Lost very carelessly to Barkley when he was utterly dominating the fight and lost a close UD in the rematch (past prime I might add). Lost at CW to Uriah Grant but only because he turned his ankle and couldn't even stand properly.

That's it. Going from WW to CW (147 to 190 pounds).

Crawford has a long way to go...

Crawford does not hit as hard as Hearns did but certainly he has a punching power.
