To me him and Loma are the 2 best in the world right now even though they have very different styles. I have a feeling Crawford is going to give Horn a terrible one sided beating and will try to prove that he's in the same class as Loma if not try to one up him
Crawford is the most overrated active fighter in boxing at the moment. Don't get me wrong, he's good, but he made a career at 135 fighting guys 130, and at 140 fighting guys 135. Who were those guys again? I haven't ever seen him fight a pressure fighter anywhere near as good as Horn, a fighter overall as good as Horn, or a fighter even close to the size of Horn, but Crawford is supposed to give him a beating? Please. It will be a good close fight, but Crawford will be lucky if Horn doesn't walk straight through everything he's got, and like most of Horns opponents who continually underestimate him, near have a heart attack after 5 rounds due to the pressure and pace.
The title sums it all up. 'Probably'. We don't know whether he is the real deal or not yet, despite him gaining all 4 belts at 140, just shows how bad the level of opposition has been for him. All he has done so far is beaten a average scottish guy, and the guy who beat the average scottish guy. That's all. 2 people. And horn is huge at 147. Crawford isn't giving him a beating. He might give him a schooling and a masterclass, but not a beating. Crawford will either completely outbox him, and show he is the real deal, or he'll be brutally battered by Horn where he'll either quit on his stool or be knocked out.
Crawford is very good, at this stage and against his level of competition having HOF level skill hasn't been proven yet let alone an ATG skillset. He's done what he's been supposed to do, to date, but at this point in time he hasn't even beaten an opponent that would be considered a truly world class boxer yet.
Loma is more skillful, a level above skillwise. But i do think crawford has that tough, rough hardass mentality along with his very good skills that make him a very hard man to beat.
I think people are selling Horn very short. Horn due to the Pacquiaotards gets a lot of **** but he’s a multi-faceted fighter and he’s strong. He gives very different looks. He has multiple punches in his arsenal and he’s big. It’s going to be a tough fight for Crawford. That said Crawford is going to win. At best, a late stoppage. At worse, a points decision. Horn gives all too WW’s a tough fight. Regardless Crawford although I wasn’t sold in the beginning has grown a lot on me. The Gamboa fight was tough early on but I didn’t realize at the time he was SP for the whole fight. Then I saw him destroy people who were supposed to give his his first “L”. Out of the current crop of fighters, I think Crawford will have the best case for ATG when it’s all said and done.
Look at the alts in full effect today. For an ATG Pacquiao, that’s pathetic also considering the way you guys and media hype him up. For Crawford, it’s a great learning experience as he’s not there yet as a fighter. The mods are terrible on this site and just allow you losers to continue to get on this board.
A now (since the Crawford fight was signed) multi-faceted, strong, multiple puncher who gives all top WW’s a tough fight 'teacher'...
Horn is extremely hittable, crawford will only have use a bit of lateral movement and he should have a field day. Horn leads with his head and crosses his feet when he bumrushes, if crawford cant pick him apart i dont know what to say about his talent. expect a shutout for terrence.....
I disagree. His ruff tactics and off-rhythm will make for a difficult night. Ask Pacquiao, the 8 weight division champ who lost fair and square. No robbery like these clowns try to say.
Pacman looked completely out of sorts, shot, and very slow for him. Crawford is fresher, hungrier, faster, longer.... In his prime both mentally and physically. He will beat horn widely. Horn wasnt exactly great against european level gary corcoran, he had some problems and was hit enough times to think a world level would have easy work.
