I'm not going to sit here and play Boxrec with you. As stated earlier, Shafikov and Crawford are the head-to-head 2nd-tier at lightweight, Gamboa and Vázquez ahead of them, Burns just slightly behind them (front and center of 3rd or back row on 2nd tier). If you don't see it that way, fine. I do...and that opinion needn't and can't be expressed through a rote listing of what names each has beaten. Hence why I didn't "rank" them in a conventional sense, as my grouping had naught to do with the achievements bit that factors into such rankings...where, yes, Burns having done more on paper he would rank higher in that kind of list. They are (I thought, perhaps mistakenly, obviously) my view evaluating strictly the h2h ability of the best handful of lightweights.

I share this opinion, I think Crawford hasn't shown me enough in terms of quality opponents and for someone who hasn’t experienced nothing on this scale before out of his comfort zone (Glasgow is as hostile as it gets). I reckon Burns will do it on points, he is a tough character.

Lol at the guy saying he's putting 30K down, big words online, are we talking Vcash here?

Lirva didn't you have a meltdown after the supposed 18k you lost on broner (bull**** of course) ?

At least we know ricky will win now you've said you're betting on Crawford, I don't think I've ever seen one of the bets you've claimed to have made come in

I won lots of money from bets I've tipped up on here. Much more than the losses. Followers know this. The last tip was a make bet on Selby ko and ggg ko. Followers got 6/4 for that double. I made just over 10k that night.

Stop bringing nationality into it. The chip on the shoulder is massive.

When will the Scots realise we don't hate them like they hate us, we are generally ambivalent towards them, couldn't care less.

Im english and a good scotsman doesnt **** me off. I think ricky by decision. I think crawford will satrt off well rounds 1-4 then ricky pressure and crawford having to fight hard for 3 mins will wear him down

I am Scottish and I believe Crawford is going to beat Ricky. The only thing that gives me pause is, that jinxy arsewipe Lirva has endorsed Crawford and that's usually the kiss of death for a fighter...

seriously i'm looking forward to this and not exactly sure what to expect because of Burn's recent form/jaw injury and Crawford hasn't really been tested yet.

Acid test for Crawford in many ways as we shall see if he is the real deal or not as fighting Burns in Scotland is a huge step up. Hope Burns surprises a few and puts on a performance and wins.

I have no beef against you Billy, infact i rate you very highly amongst British trainers and you may even be the best.

All i'm doing is stating my opinion based on many years of watching boxing, i've also boxed as a amateur and still train as much as my job allows.

Just regarding Ricky's last two fights, i have been fair in my predictions and stated this before both fights

    Re: Jose Gonzalez

Ultimately i was wrong about Gonzalez winning but i was right that Ricky would badly struggle and would have lost if it wasn't for the injury Jose picked up in the fight.

    Re: Ray Beltran

I ended up scoring the Beltran-Burns fight 115-112 to Beltran although that scoring included giving Ricky any round that was close even when i thought Beltran had done enough to win it.

You can see my Round by Round here:

    Re: Terrance Crawford

All i'm doing is stating who i think will win based on how Crawford and Burns match up against each other and i only see one clear winner here:

CRAWFORD to win either UD 10rds to 2 (118-110) or by TKO/Billy Nelson Corner stoppage by the 10th Rd.

Rubbish. There are betting sites which allow max stakes of more than that. And who don't limit people. If your that into gambling you'd be on those sites losing $$$$$$.

think too many folks are of the opinion that your only as good as your last fight and judging ricky on his performance against beltran. Burns was handicapped for ten rounds of that fight for god sakes, I don't think crawfords level of opponents have been that great for him to be classed as the favourite for this fight. Burns to break crawfords heart before the end of the fight
