When a great fighter keeps fighting at a level well below their true class for what ever reason, money or glory and when they decide to finally call it a day against a fighter they wouldnt have even heard of in their primes. My question is which is the worst final win a great fighter ever had. Surely there cant be a worse final win for a great fighter then this. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRotpnkhvtk[/ame]
Serious answer though, Holmes - Butterbean is hard to top. I hated seeing Hearns fight back in 06 though. Here he is against the great Shannon Landberg. This content is protected Holyfield is gonna be a lock for this when he finally retires though.
Actually its pretty common, fighters often box well past prime till they pick up humiliating losses vs opposition they would have killed in their prime, therefore a win vs a nonamer for some cash happens a lot.
