Murder arrest in Cornwall over missing men A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of double murder by police investigating the disappearance of two men in Cornwall. David Griffiths, from Plymouth, now living in Berkshire, and Brett Flournoy, from Merseyside, were last seen on 16 June arriving in Cornwall. Police said they were questioning the man they had arrested and searching his home in St Austell. Devon and Cornwall Police said that no bodies had been found. 'Come to harm' It is believed Mr Griffiths and Mr Flournoy were heading to Newquay or St Austell but police said it was not clear if they had been there. Both men have not been in touch with their families, which police said was completely out of character. Det Insp Costa Nassaris said: "Following our extensive inquiries we now believe that both David Griffiths and Brett Flournoy have come to harm. "We have contacted David and Brett's families and their next of kin have been informed. "We will continue to support their families, with their local police forces, as the investigation continues." Police are appealing for anyone who saw the white Citroen Berlingo van they were believed to have been travelling in to get in touch. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-14147076
Sad news it doesn't look good thoughts go out to both families. Brett was a top boxer I thought that he could definitely win a British title if he had put a string of fights together. Very sad
Oh why oh why? We are talking aboutthe potential murder of two guys here and you thinks it's ok to put a jokey message about them being homosexual. No class
However, I must say this is bad news. The trouble with these things is the longer they go in the more likely it is the news will be bad. Thoughts and respects go out to both families
The Police wouldn't arrest a giuy on a murder charge if they weren't convinced the worst had happened. Brett impressed me in prizefighter. Real shame there are just some bad *******s in this world
