I vote for McGoven IF its under the rules of McGovern's day. I cant see Terry winning in a 12 round fight vs Shane. Also the rules have change over the 80 year period of Terry and Shane. Ref's in Terry's day were more often not to break em up in a clich, and also the netruel coner rule or lack of. I think McGoven mules Mosley in the clichs in the 1900's imo.

Mosley wins this one. When McGovern was taking on lightweights, his manager picked conditions that would weaken them. Even though Terry himself was ready to take on anyone, his manager wasn't too confident about him being able to deal with good lightweights not past their peak and not weakened by weight-reduction.

I suspect that the weight diferential would be too much even for the great McGovern.
