Ray Leonard was 34 years old when he lost a lopsided decision to light middleweight champ Terry Norris. What would the outcome be if meeting at catchweight, Norris faced 34 year old Ray Robinson, the one who k.o.’d Bobo Olson in 2 rounds to regain the middleweight title. Who would win?

Robinson could still pull off the one punch ko's with both hands (Graziano, Olson, Fulmer) and Terry could be hit and put to sleep. Ray would catch up to him at some point for the stoppage.

I can see Norris winning a decision. This is about the time Robinson started slipping and Norris was in his prime.

I wouldn't discount a Norris points win, but if I had to put the house on it I'd go SRR by late KO.

People, not every fight ends in a KO.

At these respective points in their careers, Ray has WAY more experience. And he still owns power in both hands. Terry has his come forward, Plan A or no plan mentality.

Ray ****ing schools him here, takes him behind the woodshed, hurts him in the latter rounds and wins an ever widening decision.

This fight would have resulted in one of SRR's most picturesque ko's. Robinson would have probably embalmed Norris with one punch.

Norris, just for the sake of posibility, could concievably been ahead in the scoring...he could possibly have been fighting a very good fight against the "downsliding" Robinson, but the ending would have come as suddenly as a storm at sea...

Agree with Red...Norris was an awesome talent. But the thing is here if something worked for him, he had a tendency to go to the well too often...Robinson was smart enough and experienced enough to easily pick these things up. I like the older Robinson to stop Norris.
