'Terrible' Terry Norris - How would he have fared against today's Light Middleweights

I'm a big Norris fan but Williams murdrlizes him and norris murderlizes guys like that bum that lost to Mayorga, Forrest. Prime Norris takes Mayorga, Forrest, loses to Winky, Williams. Don't know who to pick against Mosley though. I have him losing to De La Hoya. He'd get all up in Cory Spinks' punk ass and he takes Vargas, Philips, and Yory Boy Compas.

 

Some posted that people would walk through Norris.

But I think there is no one at the division that walks through him. He hit pretty freaking hard. His chin was his only problem. He would be hell for anyone right now inthe division. He could outbox Martinez, possibly hurt Williams, maybe outbox Mosely.

He would make the division fun.

I've never seen Norris have trouble with boxers, he only had trouble with big punchers.

 

Exactly, it would take a long rangy fighter to outbox Norris.

Norris had it all and he would own today's 154 pound division whether it be Williams, Martinez, Spinks or Yuri Foreman. As far as the 154 pounders of a couple of years ago, I would choose Norris to beat Oscar and Shane by decision and pick him to beat Vernon Forrest also. Forrest and Williams would have been his best challenges.

 

great thread! like most, i think norris dominates the current division. i consider him the greatest light middle of all time (based on skill set, H2H julian jackson is higher). i see him having some trouble with a prime oscar, prime vargas and possibly williams. there's no one else i can see really taking him
