    Funny how for years I had to defend the fact that he was one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight history to many who can not separate power from overall ability ( the ability to land) ... Lyle was a monster puncher ... RIP

    That second to last bomb of a right hand he landed on earnie Shavers to ko him has always impressed me, as well as accounts of that 2 round ko of Larry Middleton.
