Flanagan walked through the front door, slide through the back door, and saddled into the side door. It was a truly dominant beat down, great movement.
Just watched the fight. Flanagan's used lateral movement well and his punching was sharp. And he really dominated with activity and combos. But his defence looked leaky and Cruz at least early looked like he landed at about the same rate as Flanagan. It was only the huge size and strength difference that let him dominate the fight. Flanagan pressed the fight and threw when he wanted to because he could push Cruz back and he knew Cruz couldn't hurt him. If Cruz was a natural lightweight Flanagan would not have won like did. Pointless size mismatch. Let's see Flanagan against someone his own size.
haven't seen the fight, but was impressed that he got the stoppage. Saying that though, a lot of it had to do with the opposition of course. You can't tell me that Cruz had any business fighting for a titlebelt, even at the wasteland that's Lightweight these days.
Terry is pfp level no doubt. What a sensational performance indeed. That mofo was schooled from in everything boxing from A to Z.
British boxing fans are our own harshest critic's. We are unbiased, we don't play favourites, and tell it like it is. For trubo Terry be touted this much you can tell that he is in fact the real deal.
