    It takes place in Lowell, a short drive from me. I was going to go, but my friend (also would've been my ride) bailed last-minute.

    I was looking forward to seeing Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan in action. We're pals online (I sat ringside for his fight in Melrose in February and recorded it on my phone and uploaded it, which he personally contacted me to say he appreciated on behalf of his Irish fans back home and others around the world that would've had no way of seeing it otherwise... he also promised to spar me with at some point, but is yet to make good on it! :twisted: - which is probably good news for my liver, given the ferocity of his body attack)

    He may or may not be televised. Danny O'Connor vs. Gabriel Bracero is the main event, 10 rounds @ welterweight in a fairly even-on-paper Boston versus New York match-up.
