    J. J. Metcalf vs Aitor Nieto
    Round 1: 10-9
    Round 2: 10-10
    Round 3: 10-9
    Round 4: 9-10
    Round 5: 10-9

Nieto showing some really good counterpunching skills. Metcalf is doing better this round, landing more accurate but Nieto still throwing a lot although he isn't that accurate. Metcalf not able to hurt Nieto so far. A close round but i think Metcalf took it with his accuracy.

I have it 4-1 Metcalf but I can certainly see 3-2 Metcalf or even 3-2 Nieto.

Metcalfe has only been beyond 6 rounds twice... That has to be a worry here...

    Round 2: 10-10

    Round 6: 9-10

Metcalf will get absolutely destroyed by Khan or Brook if he will fight them. He is eating too many shots and getting countered all the time during the last couple of rounds. Metcalf starts to throw more and bigger hands in the second half of the round but gets countered immediately by some big shots. Metcalfs face is already showing some signs from the last six rounds. Nieto is doing this quite smart, using the size advantage and the distance to control the pace.

    Round 4: 9-10
    Round 5: 10-9
    Round 6: 9-10
    Round 7: 10-9

Metcalf pressuring Nieto with his jab in the first minute, doing it well and better, also landed a big right hand but Nieto did not look impressed by the power of Metcalf. Metcalf definitely having some respect here, he is very cautious throwing single hands and almost no combinations, also avoiding the infight. Metcalf doing it MUCH better in the last 45 seconds with some good action, finishing the round with a big left hook. But still i am definitely not impressed. He looks average.

    Round 7: 10-9
    Round 8: 10-9

Nieto moving a lot now, dancing around Metcalf and throwing some jabs from time to time. Less activity but he doesn't get hit either. Metcalf isn't risking that much and getting a bit frustrated but should take the round because Nieto did nothing at all apart from some counterpunches in the last 30 seconds.

Best round from Metcalf so far in the first two minutes, he hurts Nieto big time this round, Nieto nearly knocked down but could recover from that with VERY smart boxing. Metcalf looks a bit gassed imo. He did a lot in the last two or three rounds. Nieto also gassing out.

If two featherfists fight do you get the tickling contest Hatton always talked about?

JJ Metcalf looks like an uglier, smaller Mikkel Kessler.

The round starting with a big brawl while Metcalf throwing wild hooks and swings and Nieto moving away from those windmills. Nieto gassing out rapidly now but Metcalf can't capitalize. Metcalf isn't sure what to do, chasing after Nieto or outboxing him from the distance with some quick attacks and jab, jab, jab? Nieto is trying to escape and moving away from everything Metcalf is throwing. Both exchanging some big hands in the last couple of seconds. Good finish!
