Dunno if this has been posted but Flannigan who won prizefighter lightweights, beat Mathews and Sykes along the way is taking a real step up to fight Nate Campbell who has been fighting at 140-147 recently and had some good wins, along with the losses against some quality guys.

I think its a good fight, agree?

Yeah posted it a few weeks back. It's a odd one, Comes out of nowhere. I reminds me of Richard Evatt vs Junior Jones but only a lesser scale.

Faded American former champion coming over to fight a British fighter who's not even a British Champion. Jones though was still there or there abouts in world level. Campbell is a little more off that going into this fight.

Evatt nearly won, If he did it would of boosted him massively. Same for Flannigan he wins it does reboot his career which hasn't taken off as we hoped after PF. He loses it's not all bad but you got to hope it's not a devastating loss.

For Evatt he was so close to winning then got stopped, Very sad and i think took more out of him then any good.

Going to be one of the fights of a exciting and interesting night.

If Flannigan doesn't get overawed by the event i think he has the skills to do a job on Nate at this stage in his career.

Campbell should retire he's way past his prime, good name to have on your record but proves nothing.

Just googled Campbells record and its still pretty good, and still high standard.Dont know much about Flannigan, but surely if he can pull it off it will do him a lot of good.

It's a good matchup going to be exciting and Campbell is still competitive certainly at this level anyway
