    Anyone here ever meet him?
I have never heard bad press about Terry and surely one of the most respected british trainers.

Had a very impressive C.V. as a trainer / manager.

I spoke to him briefly at the fights a couple of times.I didn't know him, but he had good name, looked after his boys and was never afraid to stop a fight if his guy was getting badly worked over.A couple of guys I knew lived near his gym the Royal Oak and trained there a bit.

From that list I know Jim Watt and Gary Mason. Not sure about Jim McDonnell. Is he the same guy as the one that currently trains James Degale?

I think Watt should be in the Hall of Fame. He was a good champion. Beat good challengers (love his win over Davis a few days from Leonard-Duran Montreal. Deserves to be in just for that) and had a solid career. It took super champion Arguello to beat him and then only by decision. Watts stops Mancini inside 15 easily from southpaw. Watt is a criminally underrated fighter.
