PTS or stoppage Teeto. I guess Marsh never mixed in high company, but as an undefeated British 10-stone fighter vs the most famus out of British 10 stone fighters I thought it was an interesting debate.
I think I would have to go for Hatton. For me though he beat Joe Manley I don't think we can say Marsh fought at the top elite level which we can about Hatton.
Yeah because of the points you made on him not getting beat, i'll say points, he will obviously be a confident fighter and not going to lay down for Ricky, Ricky on points for me.
Terry was excellant if you tried to match skills with him from range, but Terry never met an aggressive body-puncher like Hatton, Terry may of found the wilder Dave Boy Green a handful, the Compact Hatton, the Hatton who Ripped Mike Stewart apart would be favoured by me to catch up to Terry and sicken him to the body before switching to the Head to end it, perhaps around the 8th - 9th Whilst Hatton fought people like Marsh, i dont think Marsh fought people like hatton.
Marsh was capable ,but I think Hatton is more proven ,I would pick him by late stoppage or dec,but he would have his hands full imo.
hatton wins just,marsh a very mentally strong fighter ,but both loose to jack kid berg ,i know he was really a natural lightweight but he was a jw world champ won and lost against some of the top fighters of his time ,and of course i am saying hatton may get beaten by the smaller man
