    How good was he? Could he have gone on to greater things if not for the epilepsy?
    WHat stye was he and what skillsets/physical abilites did he posses?

    Please educate this wretched sinner!

    No, he achived all he could TBH. The 140 division was in a bit of post Pryor slump and Marsh was one of the best of a bad (at that level) bunch. He was a decent boxer with a good chin who traded an toughness and good stamina. He liked to get close, force the pace and out hustle his opponent but he could also get on his bike and box well when he wanted to.

    Cheers. I remeber him beating Manley in what was considered a mild upset and beating an asian (Korean?) fighter who'd been stopped by Pryor previously. Haven't seen him fight in so long I cant really compare him to others H2H.

    Akio Kameda, Marsh was cut pretty bad in that fight IIRC and managed to force the stoppage before the cut worsened.

    I was at the Manley fight. Easily Marsh's best performance. It was in a tent in a field in basildon!! Saw Marsh several times. He couldn't punch for toffee, but was a seriously hard man(ex-Royal Marines) with an astonishing workrate based on his freakishly low heart rate. Probably went about as far as he could have. Wouldn't have beaten Hatton.
