Does he fit in the 75 area to the ass end in anyone's mind, or is that absolutely out of the question. :think

I wouldn't have him anywhere approaching a top 100. Not because I'm not a fan, but because he simply doesn't deserve that ranking over so many other great fighters. I doubt if he'd make a top 200, honestly. Just too many fighters.

He's too flawed as a fighter. Chinny, and inconsistent. And if you check out his resume, he doesn't have enough good wins to displace so many other fighters. Not close.

****in' haters. He beat prime Leonard, Mugabi, and Taylor. The Jackson and Brown defeats were just pit stops.

Leonard was not in his prime. The Taylor win was underrated because Taylor had just dominated Aaron Davis. The Mugabi win was great because most thought he would lose. I have Norris in the top 200 ATG lists definitely.

i wouldnt compain in the top 100. of course you would have to do a bit of arguing but pretty understandable.

3 time world champion, arguably the best light-middle of all time in a time when it was packed with names, was p4p top 3, had a good set of wins over 5 p4p top 10 fighters.
also he is an all round fighter.

of course the reality sets in that he can be touched and is ill-disciplined and granted as having a glass jaw (though i think he is a bit more studier and durable than people say).
also wins over past prime fighters isnt his fualt but doesnt help either.

I wouldn't say I'd agree necessarily but I can see it being argued. A case can be made for him. He really is probably the greatest/most accomplished career light middleweight.

He was pretty good. I'm getting the majority of his fights soon. I'm a fan but putting him in P4P 100 is a big stretch that more deserving fighters deserve.

Please explain to me how he was "too flawed as a fighter" ???

Norris didn't have any weaknesses on offense and he was very good on defense as well. Just because he had two TKO losses to Brown and Jackson doesn't mean he was bad defensively, he was quite good on defense. As far as inconsistency goes, his loss to Simon Brown was the only argument against him for being inconsistent and please don't mention the two DQ losses to Luis Santana because it's obvious that Santana faked being injured twice.

So out of curiosity do you have a top 200 list?.....And if you do, do you mind showing me or at least PM it to me cause their aint 200 fighters better than Terry Norris.

I don't have a top 100 list but I would put him in the range of 85-100 just out of my own estimation.

Guy got sparked by a jab. Total ***** street, by a jab!! I can't think of anybody in the top 100 that I can make that statement about. He often stuck his extremely weak chin in the air when delivering punches. I also can't name a fighter in the top 100 who got DQ'd twice by to the same guy, which makes him a bit flaky. He got stopped brutally by Julian Jackson. No great shame. Laurent Bouduani? Keith Mullings???? Or do we just forget about that? It's cool to give him tons of credit for beating completely shot Ray Leonard, Donald Curry, and Meldrick Taylor (I'm sure there are others but I'm already giving this post more time than the subject deserves) but we're supposed to turn a blind eye to Bouduani and Mullings?

To sum up, no ****ing way a guy who got sparked by a jab, lands on his face against Jackson, gets DQ'd twice to the same guy and stopped by Bouduani and Mullings makes any respectable top 100. Sorry. Again, Leonard, Curry, and Taylor were completely shot. Ah ****, I forgot his loss to the stellar Dana Rosenblatt. Mugabi was shot too. Take your pick. I'll give you Leonard, Curry, and Taylor but you have to count Brown, Jackson, Bouduani, Santana, Rosenblatt, and Mullings. Can't have it both ways. Either way, he doesn't belong in a top 100. Case closed.

p.s. I think the fact the you have 4 pictures of the guy in your avatar (I believe that's an ESB record and reeks of Bro-mance) makes you less than objective on the subject.

He was not himself in the first Brown fight and the rematch obviously answered that when Brown struggled to win more than two rounds on my card and that's even being generous.

Honestly, did you see his DQ losses to Santana?.....Again it's painfully obvious that Santana faked being injured by Terry twice. In their first fight Terry lightly tapped Santana on the back of the head and Santana acts as if he got hit with a baseball bat, even Jose Sulaiman wanted to count it as TKO loss knowing Santana is faking. Then in the rematch the guy get lightly hit after the bell and again lays on the mat and get taken off by a stretcher, that was the two biggest bull**** DQ losses I have seened on tape.

Like you said no great shame in getting kayoed by Jackson, Terry was winning rounds 1 and 2 before he got stopped too. Terry was a shot fighter when got those losses to Mullings and that other dude, so you can't hold that against him. Now I know the knee jerk response to that is to say Leonard and Curry were shot fighters but getting beat up by Terry at 154 is not necessarily an indication of being shot but getting beat by the likes Mullings and Bouduani is.

My other responses answer all that you have said here. By the way I love your use of Boxrec.:D
