    Two things come to mind:

#1 Maybe David Haye's "work ethic" is the right way

#2 Archie Moore had 200 somethin' fights. Why can one guy have 00 fights and live to a nice age of 85 and some cant" Is it all genetics?

I was just thinking that boxing should make every fighter who applies for a boxing lisence go through a course on the potential hazards that could come with not just actual fights, but the punishment the brain takes in sparring sessions.
I dont think alot of fighters realize the damage that can come to their brains even while sparring with headgear on.

Every fighter applying for a license should be educated on the actual damage fighters like Ali, Meldrick Taylor, Terry Norris, etc acquired because of boxing. :?

Objectively it was a perfect punch at the perfect time from Jackson. Terry dropped his left hand because the hawk's shoulder position made it look like a right hook to the body was coming.

Claims could be made for a few fighters being #1 at 154. Hearns had what? 5 fights at the weight? Norris' career at 154 could be matched with anyone else's.

Winky, McCallum, Norris, Hearns all have an argument for the top spot.

Pretty much imo. Look at George Chuvalo. That guy was a punching bag for the golden age of heavyweights but right now if you talked to him he shows almost no signs of damage and seems like a regular guy...... then you look at a fighter from a similar era with similar opponents yet was a great defensive fighter but is badly damaged in Jimmy Young.

Your facts, mean jack ****..ask any doctor specialized in head trauma. He will tell you that the first damage done, is the worst. The brain loses the ability to recover proberly after such a ko..Now thats a fact....

Oscar Larios and every other fighter that was brutally ko'd early in their career says your doctor can shove your facts up your ass.

Its so obvious that Pacquiao's early ko loses are the reason he is so brain damaged now and ko'd by Marquez.

****ing horrible to hear. Terry was always one of my favorites a great all action fighter with a mean streak a mile long . I hope he can find some peace.
