Terry Norris vs. Dick Tiger

damn! what's with all the norris threads??

well this is one time i can't vote for terrible. tiger is too tough, too durable and too good at middleweight. norris would have his moments but he'll be overwhelmed in the mid rounds by the sheer physical strength, aggression and punching power of tiger.

Poor Terry.

 

I'd reckon Tiger sparks him; badly. Norris is not strong enough to stave Tiger off and would find himself seriously hurting the minute he opens up with those nasty combos and tries to exchange. Tiger was rough inside, and quite explosive and hard hitting as well. One flush Tiger left hook and Norris is comatose.

 

I wince for Terry in this one. Norris was second to none in guts, but it would be ill-advised against this guy. Terry's speed does him good... but not much. Not against Dick Tiger.

 

just a quick thought: can anyone think of instances where tiger fought a faster fighter (probably a bunch as he wasn't the fastest)? what about instances where he effectively cut off the ring?

when on Terry easily was one of the best 154lbers ever... at 160 Tiger isway tooo much.

 

Enough with Terry Norris already!! Dick Tiger would grind the guy down to a nub if he didn't outright decapitate him if he caught him like he did Rubin Carter.

Bad match up for Norris. He might outbox Tiger who was not the fastest but if he tried to fight with him it's over ... Tiger way too strong ...
