can joey g take norriss hard shots or does he dance and stick for the win with his master boxing skills?

Giardello outboxes, outfoxes and outguts Norris. Joey would have shrugged off anything serious that Norris would get through, but there wouldn't be too many bright spots for Terry, as Giardello is one of the foxiest of boxing wizards.

Joey would definitely take anything Norris threw at him.

On an off day for Joey, Norris can win a decision, on an average day for Joey, Joey wins by close UD, and on a good day for Joey, Norris gets Ko'ed.

If Joey sticks and moves contantly, he should pull out a points win. Still it's close, given Norris' own speed and punching.

I think Norris can take this, Giardello was very skilled, but sometimes speed can see a skilled boxer getting outboxed and I think this happens here. Norris would be up in weight but then Guardello is 1 of the smaller weaker MW champions. Still it is 1 that could go either way but I think Norris is underrated due to the banana skin

Joey was 5-10 and 160..small and weak enough to beat Dick Tiger and defend successfully vs Rubin Carter...he'd beat china chinned Terry Norris with room to spare over 15.

Joey looked weak against Tiger and Carter though, he had to get his track shoes on for those and prayed the judges liked his style.....

He BEAT both guys PP, and he didn't get knocked unconcious every other fight like Norris did!! Joey was also 33 and 34 respectively for Tiger and Giardello..both of whom would have turned Terry's lights out.

I'm not sure he beat Carter, I had Carter ahead into the 12th before my PC crashed, so the verdicts out on that for me personally. I haven't actually got round to watching Tiger-Giardello so can't comment on that yet

Norris was ko'd a few times, but that was mainly lapses in concentration against aggressive types, which Giardello wasn't, styles make fights RC and Norris is giving up less size than against most MWs and at his best Norris was a neglicted beast of a boxer puncher

I'll take this...If Joey doesn't pay attention, Norris would out speed him. But all things considered...Giardello.

I'd think this would be similar to Gil Turner vs Joey Giardello.

I think Norris' pressure and fast hands would disrupt Joey early but when he got his room and rhythm he would take Norris out of there.
