Is Norris too quick, powerful, and skilled or is Thurman too explosive for Norris’ chin? Prime for prime who takes it?

It didn't take a scientist to put Terry on ***** street but I tend to agree with your assessment.

I thought thurman was very good, but Norris is on another level. He would humiliate thurman

I can see it going this way, but if Thurman lands a big shot he can definitely turn the tide of the fight

Thurman is a myth of a puncher, and he's pretty fragile himself.

    This borders on a mismatch.

I'm pretty critical of Norris, but Thurman is flat out a mediocre fighter.

    Terry was better by miles.

Thurman couldn't beat a 40 yr old Pacman so how would he beat a weight bullying
speed demon like Norris. Norris by stoppage within 5 rds.

Even if Norris trades with Thurman, he blows him out.

You guys aren't understanding how mediocre Keith Thurman is. He's not Julian Jackson, and he's not Simon Brown.

I question if Thurman could even beat a guy like Mo Blocker.

Thurman's ONLY CHANCE to win is by DQ.

Have to go with Norris in this one. Thurman has no track record at 154 and Norris was a force in that class

Your completely underrating Thurman here, prior to his injury he was a power puncher with good skill and good speed. Terry Norris is my favorite fighter and I agree he’s levels above Thurman in skill, but I’ve been watching his career set on dvd and he just gets rocked a lot and dropped by lesser opponents. His weak chin makes this a good matchup imo. To say Thurman doesn’t even have a punchers chance is kinda ridiculous

I can see it going this way, but Terry wasn’t a weight bully at all, he was actually pretty small for super welter

Norris makes him look a clown probably eight times out of ten, if I'm being generous to Thurman. Maybe once in every ten attempts, Thurman pulls the shock and lands the money punch to turn it around, but you can be damn sure he'd be behind on the cards when it happened. And perhaps another time Norris might succumb to one of his lapses in discipline and get himself DQd.

But the vast majority of the time I think he uses Thurman's head as a speed bag. Could dazzle him to a wide points win if he wanted, but make no mistake, if Norris was in the mood he could certainly chop Thurman up and get him out of there inside-schedule, too. Norris' less than tungsten chin and eccentricity gives Thurman a slither of a chance, but that's it. Just talking about different classes of fighter here. Norris was one of the great, lavish talents of his time, whereas Thurman is a solid but overall unspectacular, ten-a-penny belt holder.

At this point, it might be an exaggeration to say that every single Joe Shmoe in history with some pop could beat Terry Norris.

Norris was iced two times in his prime.. by Jackson and Brown.

Thurman at no point hit anywhere near as hard as those two.

Thurmam is a myth as a puncher. If he was a big puncher, then guys like Jan Zavec and undersized Guerrero wouldn't have gone 12 with him.

No, I dont see him having much of a punchers chance.

I think even the washed up Leonard and Curry that Norris beat were better than the BEST Keith Thurman.

I think this is very close to a mismatch.
