But Norris does NOT have a chin... Why does everyone seem to ignore that fact when talking about fantasy match ups ????? The guys we talk about SRR,SRL McCallum, Hagler all had good to great whiskers... Norris doesn`t ?????

Good assessement overall. I´d pick Nino to eek out a win over Mike at mw though.

Tiger was 40 but Nino was a fighter that needed to be motivated to put in a great performance. I don´t think he was against the old Ihetu. And Tiger could be outboxed, wizard Joey Giardello proved that. :thumbsup

But that´s my point. I wouldn´t give Norris a chance against any of them. Nino has. Different class of fighter IMO.

Well the only reason Norris doesnt do as well with those guys is because those guys either had big punches, or good punches combined with either relentlessness or crafty enough to get there... Ninos height and more techinichal approach also makes him more competetive with those guys than Norris. However i think a discipined Norris would match up well with Benvenuti.
Tiger actually was succesful or was on par with the slick boxers he fought. He went 2-2 with Giardello, beat Holly Mims, and was robbed vs Joey Archer... Dont forget Tiger also beat a slick boxer puncher Jose Torres 2x at LH.

Why cause Mugabi was on his way out? He was still hot and cold, looked awesome and explosive in taking out JAcquot in 1 round. But seems like he left his chin in the Hagler fight.. Cant see Norris beating that version.

Norris looked fine but against who? Past prime versions of Mugabi, Leonard, Curry and Taylor? Really? Benvenuti beat prime atgs. Benvenuti is a borderline atg while Norris is more like a very good one.

Yeah, Tiger could catch up with slick guys but he also could get outboxed. Could not would. ;)
