a fight that was rumoured to be on the cards in 1997 was between these two crowd pleasers. I think Oscar wins by late stoppage

DLH lands a left hook to the jaw on that suspect chin and stops him in the mid rounds...

and as I remember this fight wasnt ever planned, it was Tito vs Norris that was planned

Terry wasn't the same fighter by 1997 as he was a few years earlier.

    DLH by stoppage.

Exactly but prime Norris would have beaten Oscar IMO.

    Agreed.

Oscar was better at the lower weight classes than he was at 154.

    norris beat:

    sugar ray leonard 36-1-1
    don curry - 33-4
    jorge castro - 67-2-2
    john mugabi 36-2-0
    meldric taylor - 29-1-1
    maurice blocker 34-2-0

    julian jackson beat

    herld gram 43-2
    terry norris 21-2

    tommy hearns beat

    murry sutherland 40-8-1
    wilfred benitez 44-1-1
    robert duran 77-5

i might could give you hearns based on opposition... but i wont .. because duran and benitez made there bread and butter at 135 and 140 ..

norris edges them both out in terms of all time status.. sorry buddy
