I was going to start this fantasy thread but saw it was started back in 2010 so am bumping it now. It got a massive response the first time round so let’s see what people think in 2022.
I’m picking Oscar by the way. Even though Norris was greater at 154, I’m not convinced he was actually better.
It sucks that Keith Mullings had to mess that up for everybody. I think that would have been a great fight.
Surprised everyone is picking Oscar at 154. Oscar is better h2h if they were both in their best weight classes but at 154 it’s a tough pick.
I like Oscar in this fight. The jab would be key. Oscar wasn't the most adaptable fighter ever, so it might take four rounds or so to figure Norris' rhythm and start landing hard shots. Norris, with his power & quickness, would start well, but would not end well. ODLH TKO 8 Norris.
At their bests, I take Norris all day. But, by the time that fight could have actually happened, Terry was greatly diminished and suffering from the effects of P.D.
