Norris was too strong at 154 for most any welter. Too much fire power for Floyd to handle. You need a fairly crisp punch to beat Norris at 154, and Mayweather just isn't strong enough.

Norris by decision, maybe even late round stoppage.

Norris always rose to the occasion for big fights. Floyd would be no different and I wouldnt be surprised Terry knocked him out.

    Funny post, Sweet Pea.

This question is just for you, no need to start a thread. How would Whitaker have fared against Norris?

Pernell Whitaker is one of my favorite fighters ever. He was the best of the 90's. I would go on and on about how a champion should act, face quality opposition, etc... but you probably already know that Whitaker has no peer in this decade.

When Whitaker fought JCV for the 154lb. title, I saw how much he struggled. I felt he won with no controversy, but I thought that he looked like he was trying harder than in any other fight. I feel this was the reason for his not facing Norris at that time. I'm glad. I saw what Norris did to smaller guys.

At 154, I would favor Norris. Just as I would favor Norris over Floyd, but I just get fed up with rooster's nuthugging and hating ways. There is no in-between with him.

Pea didn't carry the weight up to 154 well, he actually looked a tad chunky in fact. Norris was too big and too powerful at that weight. However, Norris did say I believe that if the fight was big enough, he would drop down to 147. In that case, I would favor Pea at 147.

He also handled the first Simon Brown fight pretty well. The boogaloo he did after eating a Brown jab was hilarious.

Why did kerosene edit your post? It'd be great if they fixed this little bug!

I don't understand what you're trying to say by this. How is bias an issue with my post?

Norris was a solid Jr. Middleweight and beat (& lost to) some great fighters.

PBF split decision an "older" ODH.

If PBF starts pounding out the big welters and jr-middies consistantly,
then we know where he stands.

    Otherwise, gotta go with Norris.

I didn't think there was anything "split" about that decision. Except the splitting of rounds significantly in Floyd's favor.

That being said, DLH is old. It is hard to tell.
