I honestly don't think it would go the distance either way. Norris may even do some good work at points throughout the fight but eventually he'd get caught and knocked out brutally by Leonard.

If Leonard was aggressive and ripping combos at Norris from the start, i think Terry likely tries to trade and impose himself on Ray.

Thus getting brutally knocked out in 2 or 3 rounds.

Norris defence was leaky as hell when he was opening up, it wouldn't take ray long to finish it, though it would be a good shootout while it lasted.

It would be a hell of a fight, but being a natural at 154, I must give Terry the edge where speed and power are concerned. Which is why I pick Norris to win by a competitive UD.

I feel i must take Leonard, part of me is wanting to take Norris here because it's his weight moreso than Ray's, but i think Leonard would likely win it.

Ripping combos? On what, the air?

Kalule was more a stationary target, little in the way of power-there to be hit while in truth, Terry was a true dancing master but with power in both hands. Before an opponent would realize it, they were staring up from the canvas.

Ask Meldrick how many times he was able to land combos on him before Terry's blistering counters took their toll-3 rounds at best just as in the Leonard fight. People here act as tho ray's going to shrug off Terry's right hand and left uppercut. I can tell you that's not going to happen.

Every time Ray puts up his guard to block punches, Terry's going work him downstairs and after a few rounds of this Ray wont be able to take much more and then Terry will switch upstairs. And every time he reaches for Terry, he wont be there for him - available like the slow footed Kalule. Just the missing alone will begin to fatigue Ray and slow him down yet further. This will take it's toll on him mentally knowing he cant reach his elusive target and then he'll automatically switch to survival mode. From then on, all Terry has to do is pick him apart from a safe distance. I wouldn't even be surprised Terry took him out of there.

Norris couldnt TKO the shell of Leonard so forget that scenario.

    Leonard TKO 10 Norris.

Norris would be competitive for a few rounds, then he gets caught and hurt, and Leonard finishes him off. Leonard TKO 7.

How many jr middlewights has Ray beaten? Seriously

Kalule-that's it. One guy unless you want to include Howard and Geraldo.

Just look at that fight with Geraldo. What is Ray doing flopping around the ring with a slapper like that? And what's Ray doing on the mat against someone smaller and weaker than him.

Butcher, Xplosive I know you both like Ray but realistically you can't expect him to just shrug off the best shot of Norris and still come back. What's more, you are overestimating the strngth of Ray's jaw. THis always goes on in any discussion regarding ray vs some other fighter. You're not taking into account the effect of the punishment he would take and I am which makes my prognosis much the more likely outcome.

What's more, you're also projecting Terry standing in front of Ray the way Kalule did. Ayub just stood in front of him and it took Ray dozens of blows to finally down him. There's no way Terry's standing in front of him and you expect Ray to somehow reach him in this same manner round after round?

    You know that's bull

How many times did Terry just stay put and let Ray pop him? In the corners, Terry never let ray mount an offense but instead tied him up which is what all smart fighters do. You see, that's the thing. People underestimate Terry's smarts, resolve, speed, chin, and how dangerous opponent he was. Ray never faced anyone in his career that had all this going for them; defense, speed, versatility, mobility, could hit with either hand. This is why Ray never had a chance.

The only thing I'll admit to is Ray had the more glamorous career and bigger fights but head to head you put him in with a young Norris, and he's a loser every time.

Norris couldn`t take out the hollow shell of SRL. In his prime, even coming up 5-7 lbs. Leonard was a better fighter. I see Norris speed and style giving SRL some problems early on. But, SRL was faster than Norris, and eventually SRL would keep bringing it to Norris. Work him downstairs enough to take his legs away, then take advantage of his shaky chin to put him away. Great fight though...
