I never saw Martinez fight at 154, was he as good as he was at 160?

Norris by decision. Martinez was too green, and, Norris was too good.

Martinez was in his 30s fighting at 154. He wasn’t green.

He was good, but a bunch of his prime years were blown fighting nobodies.

He beat Alex Bunema and Kermit Cintron, who was top 3.

If you haven't seen the Cintron fight, Martinez won about 7 or 8 rounds and knocked Cotnron out in one of the rounds, but Cintron somehow convinced the ref that it was a headbutt.

Sergio Martinez. If he could knock out the iron chinned Paul Williams, he can send Norris to another dimension

Martinez was not "green" at 154. If you watch his fight with Adrian Stone, for instance, he was very much in his prime.

Norris wins this though. Just a better technician.

Yeah. I imagine Sergio’s reflex based style wouldn’t work too well against a lighting fast fighter with some pop.

That was really a bolt from the blue though. Highly unlikely he'd do the same to Norris, even with his questionable chin.

Pretty tough fight to call as both had tremendous hand and foot speed and threw tremendous combinations. I think I like Norris just a little bit more to win via decision. These two are without question two of the most athletically gifted Junior Middleweights that I can think of.
