Simon Brown basically has Norris's number from the get go...he couldn't keep Brown off him him and it seemed like every shot Simon landed was doin damage. But the shot that puts Norris out is absolute brutality..
I dont even think it really was lack of focus on Norris's part..Brown just had his number that night and didnt look good for Norris from the get go!..
Norris was a very good boxer. His chin definitely was never top notch but his skills and speed kept him out of danger. As he declined as a fighter his chin was there more for people to hit and you saw how quickly he was out of the sport. Brown could be cracked too, he was laid out by Vincent Pettway in one of the most brutal KO's. Brown was laying on the canvas unconscious punching into the air on his back.
I just dont think Norris coulda done anything against Brown on that night to win that fight...I mean that was an ass whoopin!
Jackson exposed Norris' chin inside 2 rds in '89, but Jackson exposed many chins at 154.... Still, Norris was an overall great boxer with good 154 pound power, but his chin was weak.... MR.BILL
