Give Terry some real competition. Norris wins without Benitez putting up a struggle. Norris by tko

And who would you feel is a REAL challenge REDROOSTER? Maybe a prime Mike Tyson might be able to get out of the 1rst round vs Norris?
How about Norris vs Ali-No Norris hits too hard for Ali.

Not someone like Benitez. He had no heart and let Leonard walk off with his title without putting up a fight. No heart.

I can guarantee that had it been Norris with his title on the line, he would have squashed Leonard like a grape. He would have been in his face all the time unlike Wilfredo who just looked at him the whole time, concentrating on defense. Frankly, I'm glad he lost his title-he didn't deserve to hold onto it.

I think Benitez could outbox Terry, but it's a dangerous match. Terry has a weak chin, and tho Benitez is no big hitter it's not impossible that he might get him in trouble.

If Hearns,Leonard or Duran couldn't knock out Benitez. Norris would have no shot. Benitez would avoid the Norris attacks & come on in the late rounds. A right hand to the fine china will bring an abrupt end. (ALA Maurice Hope).

Norris wins this by TKO in the late rounds or by UD.

I must concur. Terry just has too much speed, too much tenacity. Wilfred would be a helpless pup as Terry boxes circles around him

Possibly the best version of Benitez was the 154 lb one. He was still in his prime but matured physically. He fought great fights against Hope and Duran and very well against and awesome Tommy Hearns. If Hearns couldn't stop Benitez at that weight, NO WAY Norris does. Benitez would've eventually caught Norris on that china chin and gotten him outta there. No prediction on the round, just a matter of time.

Benitez is not even a power puncher to even consider him knocking out Norris.

Norris had the high workrate, punching accuracy, and constant pressure to beat Benitez. And nobody can outbox Terry Norris who style is a nightmare for technical boxers whether they are textbook like Maweather or unorthodox like Benitez, the only advantage Benitez has in this matchup is reflexes and counter punching which is simply not enough to beat Norris at his best.

Benitez would have outboxed Norris and very possibly put him on his ass en route to a unanimous decision victory. All these posts with Norris koing Benitez...ridiculous...El Radar was a nightmare for Duran, made Leonard miss more than anyone was able to in Sugar's prime, and Hearns even failed to ko him...HEARNS(!!!) This is no washed up Ray Leonard we're talking about, but one of the best pure boxing wizards of all time...he outclasses Norris, and wins 15 round decision.
