Although Norris was more entertaining, I’d pick Wright to win the fight. He had superior defense and would pick off most of Norris’ blows, while conversely Wright’s consistent, metronome, solid, well timed, quick singles would land on Norris’s relatively porous defense. Norris would keep it close with a superior work rate, power, flashy combos, but at the end of the day, Wright likely edges him.
Wright was more defensively responsible, I see Norris taking the early rounds with his superior speed and athleticism, but Wright takes over when that wears off and wins on points.
I've seen this matchup before and have always favored Winky. Norris had tremendous hand speed but like the fights with Mosley, Wright has an equalizer for handspeed and that is that ramrod, speed busting jab. Norris has his moments early but gets walked down by the Winky. Winky takes a unanimous decision.
