    Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs Daniel Roman

    Rd. Jon : Dan
    1. 10 : 9
    2. 10 : 9
    3. 10 : 9
    4. 10 : 9 (40-36)
    5. 10 : 9
    6. 9 : 10
    7. 9 : 10
    8. 9 : 10
    9. 10 : 9
    10. 10 : 9
    11. 10 : 9
    12. 9 : 10 (116-112)

Akhmadaliev wins a 12 round SD.

Rounds 4&6 were close enough to go either way imo. Not a SD type fight. Clear MJ win imo.

Roman showing nice head-movement, a respectable willingness to trade and decent speed early on. Anyways, he ain't what we're focusing on now. Akhmadaliev... Wow! This kid's the goods. Seemingly good power, quick hands and feet, nice reflexes and all-round athleticsm, good fundamentals, very good gas tank and now he's shown he can put them all together and beat a top opponent. He seemed to improve as the fight progressed too, he was on Roman like a swarm of bees in the last few rounds.

I love the Uzbek style too, If were up to me, I'd give Muro a chance to fine tune his skills, then after a couple more fights this year, I'd wanna see the Navarrete fight. What a war that would be!

The bad thing about Farmer losing? That even @CST80 will have to admit (unless you disagree with the following premise)...

He may not be as much of a h2h force overall (as in I think he beats fewer contenders than does Tank...far too many close matchups w/ decisions that might or might not swing Farmer's way, as opposed to Davis just smashing people up) but I do think Farmer had the style to have made good on his years of boasting of being the guy to snatch Davis' zero. I call that 60-40 in favor of Idol schooling Tank. Now he's back of the line, far removed from getting a crack at him...meaning Tank will continue winning and he and his army of hypers will just get more and more insufferable. :ohno

It would have been the easiest 5M Tank ever made.

Maybe. Tank did just look ****ing dire and went 12 against a shot, one-legged, glass-chinned, FW who has youthful style though... So I'm not sure Tank destroys anybody. I'm not sure Tank is top 5 at LW. Loma, Campbell, Hang, Lopez & Commey beat Gamboa much easier than that.

Gamboa is bigger than Tevin and I doubt Tank really had a good camp. He still managed to put Gamboa out more brutally than Crawford or anyone else.

Eh he still looked like ****e in doing so. And it was a much much worse version of Gamboa too.

And Tank looked great in his two or three fights before that.

Nothing bad about it whatsoever the way I see it. He's an overachiever and bumkiller who was going to lose any time he steps up, much like Ugas. The Carroll match should have been a draw, the loss to Ogawa was legit, and he looked less than stellar against Fonseca and Frenois. His most impressive performances were against Redkach, who couldn't catch him, glass bodied Tennyson and Dib. But... that's Redkach, Tennyson and Dib. Jesus.

I never gave Farmer a chance at beating Tank, who I think would have smashed him to bits. So if anything it's spared us seeing Tank beat Farmer and getting a ton of credit for what I would view as an underwhelming victory, while the rest of the boxing world would be creaming themselves over. If anything, you should look for the silver lining. JoJo Diaz probably beats Davis senseless, just like he did with Farmer, and he is willing to fight PBC fighters, so... maybe Davis will end up facing a tougher opponent that won't pad his record, but hand him his first L.

Just watched Roman v Akhmadaliev. Found it quite a hard fight to score personally. My scorecard.

    Round 1. Roman 10-9 close
    Round 2. Roman 10-9 close
    Round 3. Akhmadaliev 10-9
    Round 4. Akhmadaliev 10-9 close
    Round 5. Akhmadaliev 10-9
    Round 6. Roman 10-9
Round 7. Akhmadaliev 10-9 very close
Round 8. Roman 10-9 very close
    Round 9. Akhmadaliev 10-9
    Round 10. Akhmadaliev 10-9
    Round 11. Akhmadaliev 10-9 close
    Round 12. Roman 10-9

    Akhmadaliev 115-113.

A lot of close rounds in there I feel. Scores in this fight could range from close to wide as it was that sort of fight.
