I'm bigoted not racist. I don't have enough power to not hire people or keep them out of my neighborhood. You got the wrong guy.

It's good to know you're equally narrow minded, just more limited in scope by your circumstances.

Kellerman made me laugh in the 1st round when he said “he (Farmer) has some star appeal. He handles himself well in interviews. Even the fact that he’s obviously cross eyed, but even that is distinctive...”

Discussing the skin tone of a fighter should just become a bannable offence here.

It makes the forum really poor sometimes. Nationality can sometimes be worth discussing - i.e. Brits/Americans/Germans/Mexican/Japanese or whatever getting preferential treatment at home but th race flaming needs to be cut out like the cancer it is.

He's not a bad fighter to be fair, he was jobbed a bit here, decent enough fighter to watch.

Sorry Willie, couldn't disagree more, it was quality over quantity here, little partially blocked flitting taps don't count in my book for as much as 1 devastating straight right that rocks the opponent back on his heels, and that in a nutshell was the story of the fight. Farmer had two fairly solid rounds the rest were 50/50 depending on what you prefer. But the case for Ogawa straight up winning is far easier to come to than for Farmer. Farmer is average in every way, and was never a world beater. Don't listen to Max and Lampley's propaganda.

I respect any fighter who gets in the ring. That said, I just do not see star appeal with Farmer. He’s a slick boxer and clearly effective, but I cannot see fans getting behind him to achieve star appeal.

Think about this and discount the fact that Rigo quit tonight. At his ideal weight (122-126), Rigo does what Farmer does. He just does it way better AND he breaks faces AND he knocks people out AND he’s the boogeyman (LSC, Frampton, Mares). Despite his 2 Olympic gold medals, elusiveness, power, boxing skills, and interesting back story as a Cuban defector, the powers in boxing never spoke of Rigo’s star appeal. In fact, they downright treated him unfairly. If Farmer (25-5 (4 KOs) has star appeal, why can’t Rigo (17-1 (11KOs)?

I’ll be honest. After round 5, once I figured out that Ogawa was a one trick pony (jab, straight right), I fast forwarded the rest of the fight. Maybe I was just anxious for the rock ‘em sock ‘em of Salido vs Roman. Man did they not disappoint!

Well, you kind of missed Ogawa's best rounds then. He rocked Farmer badly in the 7th, and from that point on, Farmer went into negative survival mode.
