(this is on delay from a few hours ago but the result has yet to be posted on BoxRec so I'm unspoiled...let's keep it that way! )
This is, apparently, for the vacant WBA super welterweight Asian title*. Kiram (aka Teerachai) previously held the welterweight version of this belt, in the brief window before his unsuccessful world title challenge against Lucas Matthysse but after his insane PABA welterweight title reign (in which he made 25 defenses of the full title after 7 consecutive interim title wins...good for a total record of 32-0 just in matches for the same regional trinket!) *even though Khusniddin Pulatov is supposed to have claimed it versus Sahlan Coral last month...
Round 1 Kiram is catching Isaya's jabs on his forearms. Isaya busier to start out but not getting past Kiram's peekaboo. Isaya circling to his left, putting out a succession of single jabs, each on the heels of the last but always fully retracted to a defensive position, never quite snapped in a true double or triple motion. Isaya varying his altitude, trying a few on the belt line, forcing Kiram to raise or lower his guard accordingly. Counter jabs by Kiram, picking his spots, taking aim, landing fairly easily with his lengthy reach even from outside as he takes his time and waits for the right moment, a luxury Isaya doesn't afford himself. In the final minute Kiram starts to hurl an overhand right past Isaya's jab and it just narrowly whistles past his ear, making him duck and spin off the ropes frantically. 10-9 Kiram, only connected on a couple of jabs but that's all he needed as he pretty much blocked everything from Isaya despite getting outworked.
Round 2 Kiram is walking Isaya down, cutting in and to his right to bypass the jab and then posting up at Isaya's "3 'o'clock", drilling up top with a 1-2. Isaya tries grabbing at the waist and falls down. Isaya runs around the ring backhanding jabs up off the hip. Kiram stings him with a 1-2 after nearly trapping him in a corner. Isaya tries a pinball launcher combo on the body but is backed off with a chopping left hook. Kiram is pressuring steadily, pushing out a strong ramrod jab into Isaya's chest & chin. 10-9 Kiram 20-18 Kiram
Round 3 Kiram is jabbing in, just barely missing the head as Isaya scuffs his feet backward inch by inch and pecks at the guard with very weak defensive jabs. Isaya tries dropping anchor and standing firm and slashing a hook at the body reaching low and bending to his left, but Kiram ignores it and cruises forward. Isaya is wobbled by an overhand right behind a jab. Kiram just juggernauting in, slow & steady. Isaya running out of gas from all his running and pointless showroom jabbing. Kiram nails him against the ropes with a couple more overhand rights and Isaya scrambles, desperately covering up, bending in half and escaping in a shambling lean. 10-9 Kiram 30-27 Kiram
Round 4 Kiram is leading with right hands and shaking up Isaya, who lacks the strength to even tie Kiram up. Isaya ducking in front of Kiram but just placing himself in the path of short left hooks. Kiram unloading on Isaya. Straight rights and uppercuts now. Isaya flopping all over the place. He can't run and Kiram won't let him clinch but he doesn't fall right away...for a good half minute he just hangs on an invisible clothesline, slouched over, getting hit with his face down by Kiram's crotch and Kiram reaching down and tagging him with both hands, sending his crumpled marionette form swaying in all directions. Finally he goes down. He makes a valiant effort to get up but is waved off a moment later as the pattern repeats. TKO4!
