Kiram - aka Teerachai Kratingdaenggym - is looking to extend his comeback after being kayoed by Lucas Matthysse (one year ago officially as of a week from Sunday) by padding it out with physically overmatched Tanzanians, with this being his second in a row. He knocked out Amanyisye Isakwisa Isaya in October and now faces "Smart Boy" Mwankemwa, who is coming off an unsuccessful campaign at middleweight (0-2, both stoppage defeats, the first at the hands of recent world title challenger and then unbeaten prospect Walter Kautondokwa in a WBO Pan African 160lb title bid) yet has fought as low as super lightweight.

 

Thai media has apparently been mooting the idea of Kiram facing GGG this year...

No, seriously.

 

Remember when Ishida fought GGG, and was KTFO and for a moment everybody worried he might he dead? I'm envisioning a replay of that scenario... (except likely without Kiram subsequently having an unexpectedly game run at heavyweight)
