Give it a rest. This is a boxing site, enough of the PC BS!

The word filtered was bal lsy. Would you, if white, let that word out in front of a black audience?

Probably not, as don't see me speaking to a black audience. Plus, I am no Tex Cobb.

Ever see Cobb at the dinner with a bunch of top ten heavyweights back in the 80s?

Cobb gets to the microphone and states he is honored to be in the presence of the baddest bunch of nigg3rs he knows of. Renaldo Snipes immediately gets upset and Cobbs tells him "relax Renaldo, I wasn't talking about you". Great stuff.

Is that clip available? I've only read about it. I recall Cobb's quote being, "Sit down Snipes. I was talking about the bad ones."

Tex Cobb was a better comedian than a boxer. Truly funny and sharp as a tack.
