Lol! He might have invented UFC.

Before Cobb was a boxer, he was a kickboxer, and with his natural size, I think he would have done well in the wild-west days of Ultimate Fighting.

I wouldn't consider Dux a martial artist, I think me or any other guy on this forum who can box would beat on him- But at the same time, it would've been cool to see Cobb kick his ass.

An MMA fighter who fought in the first UFC actually beat up Frank Dux in a street fight and many people were there including Art Davie (Who created the UFC) And Royce Gracie. His name was Zane Frazier and it's how he got invited to the compete at the first ever UFC.

This was his fight against Full contact Kickboxer Kevin Rosier:

Kim is probably the worst tbh

Bart Vale did actually fight and while his record wasn't great he did fight world class fighters like Severn, Hug and Kakuda. Vale was professional wrestler with a Kempo Karate background. He wasn't a fraud, he was just kayfabing (Pro wrestling term) For the promotion he wrestled for which was "Shoot style" Where the matches where scripted but had elements of a "Real" Fight.

That's actually super fair. I didn't think about how he's just legitimizing his wrestling during an era when fans still believe in unscripted pro wrestling. Well done sir.

Yes he basically used the Pro Wrestling style to market himself and sell instructionals. He had some basic knowledge of grappling based on his Catch Wrestling training from when he was a professional wrestler in Japan and was a big strong man. His striking wasn't great, he came from a was a point fighting/light contact form of Karate as opposed to the full contact brutal styles.

With his basic knowledge of grappling and size I see no reason why he couldn't beat some guys that competed in the first four UFC's like Keith Hackney, Kevin Rosier, Harold Howard etc

Vale often tends to get treated a little unfairly. He was a genuinely pretty tough big dude who could scrap a bit. Far from being a complete fantasist like most of the others that he gets lumped in with.
