I might have to drive up to Dallas for this fight. Should be able to get a cheap ticket around 50 bucks no problem.

Normally I wouldn't care. In this case it's a little different for me because of the "making history" part of it. He'll be boasted as the only to win titles in 8 weight classes, and so on. All for winning bull**** titles at catchweights.

It wouldn't have mattered if he hadn't had the handwrap scandal. He sure didn't batter his opponent his last fight. I can't honestly believe what he did prior means anything until I see him batter someone. Call me a hater, but if you get caught with handwraps I need to see you do the same without them. All prior fights mean squat until he can prove it's his power and not plaster.

    1. The titles are starting to mean squat now. They mean far less when not won at the correct weight. But bet Manny's fans throw how many titles he has in your face after he wins... That's why it's a problem.

    2. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Some think it means something, some don't.

    3. One moving forward fighter who will be far too fast against a come forward fighter with no defense who has lost his "power" in my opinion. Bad fight in my opinion. It's good for those who only care to see Pacman demolish someone in the ring though.

I've ignored most "Making History" moments in boxing for a while now. You know, how can something "make history" of there's no consistency from the very beginning?

There are too many belts per weight...too many terrible rankings...too many favors from netoworks, Sanctioning orgs, "advisors", to get the "right" fighter on TV or labeled a champ to get the nice fat fees.

BEst to ignore all that hyperbole now a days. Boxing "multiple division champs" is watered down more then my rum & coke from TGI Fridays!!

If Texas is the only place giving MargaCheato a license it is safe to assume that the scoundrel has found a new home......and will be fighting out of theAlamadome, Cowboys Stadium, and Toyota Center.....:-( for the remainder of his career :patsch

i dont see y anybody is surprised bob arum is involved and he has the big texas stadium, of course this fights happening of course theres gonna be a license too much money and attention to not happen he was getting a license

as for the fight good bout two high volume guys with good chins but have been KO'd before Manny faces a tall long heavier opponent

I favor Manny late but Margo can do some damage and may even pull the upset

    Fair enough.

The titles HAVE meant squat for a while now. YEARS now. You're comment about correct weight is offbase. The CORRECT weight for a JrMW fight is to weigh OVER 147 and no more then 154. There has NEVER been anything to suggest you must weigh at the limit.

Yeah, and most of the time those opinions seem to differ. It's like arguing over what's the best tasting food. There is no answer to that.

We shall see. This is a higher weight then Pac has ever fought, and a bigger guy then he has ever fought.
