Pacquiao may only have a few fights left in his career. They should be against special (Marquez), meaningful (Bradley) or challenging (Williams) opponents.

It shouldn't be against a guy who really needs to prove himself first. Fine, let Margarito have his license. But let him earn his way into this type of fight, beat at least one quality opponent. He's got a lot to prove.

Dude, its not that he is racist, is that the fact that Margarito is from Mexico, and alot of Mexicans seem to think he is being persecuted by the athletic commissions and he is free of sin........There is a heavily immigrant as well as Texan/Mexican/Pocho (TexMex) population in Texas that follows him and think he is actually a legit boxer that has never cheated.......The Texas officials are banking on their dollars....and putting integrity second........hence Mexicans being pawns, by Texas officials wanting to bank on their money by exploiting their ignorance.

Some people (myself included) think that Margarito should be banned in the states for life.....He can fight out of Mexico all he wants....

 

actuallym not irked. dont expect much outta texas to begin with. its all good he will be disposed off and never heard of again so its all good. boxing needs courageous individuals and not cheaters who need to take the easy way out

How many JrMW title fights have been lower than 154? This is an honest question too, I honestly don't know. I can't imagine many though...

True. We shall see. I see Manny battering Margarito though. His speed will prevail. And I don't see Margarito's power anywhere near what we're used to seeing. Plus Margarito's defense is take shots and give them back... Not the best method when you lost all your power (read plaster). Those combined will give Manny an easy victory.

 

I don't see a fight vs. Bradley as that meaningful to be honest. Bradley just isn't on the elite level yet. What's his biggest win to date? Kendall Holt?

And I don't care to see JMM vs. Pac unless JMM shows he can fight over 135 effectively. Personally, I think Pac outgrew JMM. Happens. And Williams needs to fight at 147 before he keeps saying he can make 147.

What do you mean Margarito has to prove himself. He's done that over his career. Sure, the last two years were nill. But that doesn't erase what he did prior.

There's nothing to EARN anymore in boxing. Fighters don't EARN title shots anymore. Just got to accept that aspect.

I just want to be entertained.
