    I don't think this man was ever a world champion and the main reason was his fragile whiskers

    Welcome man, great effort. It is "The Jewell of the Ghetto" Ruby Goldstein, coming up short at title level several times due to a glass jaw - Zakman would not be impressed with his antics

    Perhaps more famous as a referee, he ref'd SRR-Maxim :good

    didnt he died in the ring while refereing a fight?or maybe that was Benny Leonard.

    No. I think you are getting it confused with Paret-Griffith, where Griffith was hammering him and Goldstein didn't do ****. Paret died later. He didn't ref anymore.

    This one has a distinctive quality which shouldn't make it hard
