I dont agree. Who other than Clottey in the welterweight division would you have had him fight without labeling him a cherry picker? The Floyd deal had fallen through and Mosley was due to fight Berto. No matter who Pac fought after the Floyd deal fell through he would have been labeled a cherry picker from the haters, as would Floyd have been called the same thing from his haters.

Hey, is true that pac "cherry pick" oponents but don't get over your head in this it doesn't mean PBF is not doing the same, he is like pac he decides to fight only when he is sure that he can beat an opponent, remember how he ducked margo? big mistake it was an easy fight for him. Well put together but I dont agree with this video, if you really know the story, both sides didnt agree to the terms for example Mayweather can say, I never saw anyone not taking a 25 million dollar test but you can also put it this way, if mayweather is the greatest and the best defensive fighter then he can beat Pac and take the 40 million, also you can say I dont mind losing and take 40 million etc etc.. It depends on how you want to look at things. you can have a glass half full or half empty

AND I never thought to look at the weights of PBF and PAC on fight night...Thats crazy!! Floyd has fought larger healthier fighters

 

Where do you disagree? There were one or two points that weren't quite accurate (for example, the Reyes gloves did make a difference in Morales 2 and DLH did get busted up against Quartey and a little bit against Floyd - not only with Forbes and then Pac), but for the most part this montage was accurate (Pacman did fight fighters who they thought were on a downward spiral and he did outweigh them on fight night - one thing that wasn't brought up was the fact that after Morales 2, Pac didn't say one thing about getting blood drawn, but once this whole Floyd issue started then they say the blood was the reason he lost to Morales 2 although it obviously didn't affect him against Hatton).

 

I don't even agree with this excuse. There was a Pac/Clottey countdown show on last night. Roach remarked how that fight changed him as a trainer. He said Pac simply wasn't well rounded enough and that he had to make him a complete fighter. There's a whole article today on Yahoo were Roach further explores the subject and says that he trained his guys to fight like him before that fight. He didn't try to refine their skills and he was too complacent. Not once did he mention anything about gloves. Despite the stupid **** he says sometimes, Roach is no fool. He knows damn well his guy wasn't prepared, and lost because of that. Not because of the gloves.
