50-50 chance of outcome if we take out the chance of odd scorecards which are never out of the question for home fighters anywhere. Would have to very clearly beat huck in Germany assuming that is where it is held
The fight would likely take place in Germany, so I'd say Mchunu sweeps the 1st 8 rounds, Huck none stop aggression gets the better of Mchunu in the final 4, and he scores a couple of knock downs. Huck wins on points with a couple of judges giving him the benefit of a few of the 1st 8 rounds he lost.
I feel he would very clearly out-land Huck in terms of percentages of clean effective punches. Not only would the Rock land accurately (in a manner judges couldn't possibly miss) on the Captain, but he would make him miss a lot, even by Huck's usual standards. The disparity would be glaring, enough that you would hope it would be prohibitively assured that he wouldn't get robbed. Even in Germany. ...but maybe I'm too much of an optimist. :yep ...having said all that, Mchunuiis quite a bit smaller, has never had to face a pressure machine like Huck, did get stopped early on by a domestic rival and Huck is, proven many times over, able to club down even very good slick boxers. :think
Would love for this fight to happen. Top level fights and unifications are what the cruiserweight division needs. The talent is clearly there a hellacious division they just need to all fight each other
Cruiserweight would be a very interesting weight to do a tournament in with Mchunu, Huck, Lebedev, Hernandez, Wlodarczyk, Drozd, Afalobi, Chakhiev- they are all quite capable, yet all entirely beatable, so every fight in it, none would be a gimme.
Huck is the longest reigning cruiserweight champ ever, yet people still underestimate/ underrate him......................... weird...
Probably because he should've lost that belt on at least 3 different occasions (Lebedev, Afolabi, Aslan), then again, I do think he was unlucky on the scorecards against Povetkin in his heavyweight fight.
Who is underestimating or underrating him? Mchuhu is very good, so calling this 50-50 is hardly an insult. FFS, Huck just had major problems with a complete unknown that 90% of fans picked Huck to obliterate. Suggesting that Mchunu can do better than Larghetti is hardly unreasonable.
Huck by KO. Mchunu is overrated, because of Past-Prime Eddie Chambers. Makabu is the much better african talent.
