12th was another round where Oosth did more but Mchunu landed harder. Think Mchunu;s work was more effective in this round. So, either a draw or a close Tommy Gun win seem appropriate scores.

A UD. Boxing corruption is alive and well in boxing.

I don't feel Tommy won that fight by UD. A draw would have been a far more appropriate score, if that.

Seems like Oost deserves the win here considering the whole fight he looked better and was a way more active but have to admit i didn't follow in detail?!

I tried telling you that a Mchunu win was far from 100℅ certainty. Tommy is in a lot lf close, cagey and controversial fights.

Imo Mchunu should have got the nod. Can't remember single shot from Tommy that made me think ''damn he clanded clean''

He was active but not effective.

Mchunu especially in the later rounds landed multiple HARD shots in each round.

It's not a bad watch at all. I think Mchunu was probably the better fighter, but Oosthuizen had the better plan. In the end, Oosthuizen's ability to stick to the plan allowed him to scrounge enough of the close rounds to win the decision.

Tommy is the bigger name and you know SA. Isnt he one of Berman's boys?

Perhaps Oosthuizen to go back to light heavy and face Ryno. That would be an awesome matchup.

Ooshtuizen was rolling with a number of the shots and kept a busy jab in the face of Mchunu. Plus, Mchunu just wasn't busy enough or landing at a high enough clip to clearly take the 10th and 11th, and he needed those rounds to cinch the fight on my card, and the judges. It was there for him...he just didn't do quite enough to take it.

Doubt it. He'll probably stay at CW now considering that this probably earned him a high ranking.
