    May 28, 2025 in Bangkok :

    Thammanoon Niyomtrong "Knockout CP Freshmart," the Thai 34-year-old former WBA world champion (26-1-0, 10 KOs), will face Filipino Roland Tayogon 24-year-old, 8-0-1 ( 4 KOs). Roland Tuyogon is a former student of Ratanapol Sor Vorapin, a former IBF world champion.

    It will be a 10 rounds fight for the vacant WBC Asia title in 105 lbs.

    Nice to see Knockout back and active after losing his title. But gosh darn, how the heck did this guy become the number one challenger for the WBC belt? I swear, even the sanctioning bodies don't care about the lower weights and just randomly place guys in their rankings. :lol:

    Knockout was WBA Champion during 9 years... and it's 16 defenses if we count the WBA Interim Belt...

    I think he have definetely his chance if he will fight Melvin Jerusalem for the WBC Belt.

    Would like to see Knockout retire. Actually think he's had a pretty underrated career. His reign literally lasted though 3 US presidencies.
