Thammanoon Niyomtrong vs. Carlos Buitrago II RBR

Salve A Ti sounds like the music they'd play in a carnival "shoot the clown" booth.

 

Buitrago in blue & white.

Niyomtrong in red and gold.

 

Round 1

Buitrago is hammering with the right hand behind the ear after jabbing his way in. Niyomtrong is catching jabs on the underside of his forearms, pinned together over his chest & face, then shooting a right hand as Buitrago is retracting. 1-2 on the body from Niyomtrong. Uppercut on the armpit by Buitrago. Jab-feint by Buitrago, and Niyomtrong does a ducking head-fake, making Buitrago pull the jab. Niyomtrong presses in and gets bopped atop the crown with a right hand. Sweeping uppercut at the chest by Buitrago. Niyomtrong slides back to dodge.

Round 2

Niyomtrong is holding up the guard and bowing his way in, dipping forward and to either side in a constant undulation, never staying in the center lane where Buitrago is attempting to line him up and time him with a 1-2. Niyomtrong tries a chopping right hand stepping in but Buitrago adjusts his footing, spaces out and finds the mark with the 1-2. Niyomtrong keeps slashing with the overhand right and jerking outside, now getting into a rhythm and escaping before Buitrago can counter. Stiff up-jab on the mouth by Niyomtrong, performing a partial split to slide his left leg in and increase his range without putting himself in harm's way, lowering his chin while keeping his upper body aligned straight on the outside.
