Niyomtrong dusting the guard of Tanaka with combos, shoeshining into a hook or uppercut, then squaring up to him and looping in solo blasts on the internal organs. Tanaka backs out and lies on ambush, loading up on hooks or chopping rights into the face, raking his gloves across the cut that opened on Niyomtrong a round or two ago, then clinching.

Round 11

Complete and utter clinch-fest until a ref-ordered break, upon which Niyomtrong starts ripping Tanaka with uppercuts on the breadbasket, then big walloping hooks on the face. Tanaka flurries back on the inside but is quickly overpowered in each melee, forced to run or clinch.

Round 12

Niyomtrong tired but still putting up a hellish workrate, just spraying punches everywhere, most on upward trajectories from down by his legs. Huge barrage of body shots by Niyomtrong, a few straying low and Tanaka sells it to buy some time. Niyomtrong has enough strength left to keep throwing nonstop punches but not to put any snap on them or deny Tanaka's clinching attempts. Tanaka with some blips of his own falling in, hitting Niyomtrong between the eyes once or twice.

I mean, Tanaka has only ever been stopped once.
