As I said before Holm would win that fight because she's a female level A fighter and when a level A boxer vs a level A MMA the boxer wins 8 out of 10 times because of ring distance, composure , IQ, etc.
As Mayweather said in past that his name most likely got used to hype Rousy's name more

 

Why did Rousey duck the press. All of her opponents are at the post fight when she beats them? What ? people really think she went to the hospital, her and Dana White dried into each others arms about all that lost hype.

THAT IS THE BIGGEST PILE OF horse **** I have ever read. Also Holmes is a mixed martial artist, she is NO longer a boxer. Rhonda is just another overhyped American like the rest of them. Holmes was able to transition well from boxing in to MMA.

Even if i like Boxing more than MMA, can´t agree with that.

Take a prime Fedor vs any A level HW boxer of the past or present, i don t see anyone as 50-50 or favorite against him (only Tyson if he uses biting in his ****nal :hey)

Punching: 4
Kicking: 1
Footwork (Closing the gap etc.): 3

Fedor:
Punching: 7 (HW boxers have 9 or 10)
Kicking: 5
Footwork: 8
Takedown: 10
Grappling in standing position: 9
Groundgame: 10

Ronda doesn´t have a real stand up game and very weak footwork (way to slow).
That s her great weakness and Holly exposed it.
Her judo and submission is great...but judo + sub without great wrestling (takedowns etc.) and closing the gap is not complete.

But it doesn´t change that - in my opinion the greatest MMA fighter to this day - Fedor, would be my favorite against ALL Boxing HW Champs, becaus his only "weakness" is kicking, but he don´t need kicks.
His closing the gap, takedown and groundgame would be too much for any HW to handle.

The only HW in history who would be able to give him troube to catch would be the prime Ali because of his unique footwork in HW...but the question would be how much he could hurt him with his punches (Fedor has no iron jaw, but no glass as well).



Otherwise:
Prime Mike Tyson in a big octagon vs any Gracie would be much closer than most MMA/UFC fans think. Because the Gracie´s have the same weakness as Ronda (worse striking, no great takedown and no great footwork agility). Mike would have a very big chance to take this (i always thought that, but the MMA fanboys never agreed).

Fedor was the complete fighter. Ronda was exposed as a one dimensional bully. Even in the clinch it was pathetic, she seemed clueless.

I'm sure the Holm camp thought they would win, but did think it was going to be that easy?
