The reason is that after breaking those PPV and gate records last time we didn't just see a man outboxed as we did in the first fight, we all saw a one sided deconstruction of Wilder from a man who was previously reckoned to be 'feather fisted'. We saw Wilder bullied, rag dolled, punched senseless. In short, we had every possible remaining question from the first fight answered.

So whilst I'd agree with you that their two fights have been entertaining for different reasons and if the third had been made I'd have tuned in, it really wasn't a fight that most observers were clamouring to see.

OK, do you understand why nobody wanted to see Tyson-Spinks 2?

Same. The difference is that Tyson was much more destructive over Spinks than Fury was over Wilder. It was the best boxer in the division versus the best puncher, bot nobody wanted to see it again - nobody.

Here, because it wasn't so one-sided, there is a wider split - some want to see it many don't.

Some literally want to see Fury box almost anyone else.

Personally, i'd rather see Fury-Wilder than Fury-Kabayel but i'd rather see Fury-Hunter than Fury-Wilder III for example. I've seen that rivalry settled and I want to see more from Wilder before Part III (I think this would be best for him too).

There is nothing odd about any of this. It's all normal, and it's not a feeling that is only encountered on this forum. That is made up nonsense.

“I don’t believe ‘You’re going to suck because I don’t know you’, that’s just the ignorance of your average boxing fan,” Wilder told Boxing News.

“Some of these fans feel like they got to have heard of the fighters or they got to be a known name – but sometimes you don’t know anything about the best fighters. If you look back from now until way back in time, most of the foreign guys you knew about until they made a big splash. Nobody knew who Manny Pacquiao was until he made a name for himself. I wish fans would stop criticising fighters because it takes a lot to get in the ring.” - D. Wilder

Kabayel could be the next Manny Pacquiao and here you have ignoramuses like Dubblechin crapping all over him.

I'd love for that to happen! It would be so fitting for this division. :ARMS1:
Only the WBO belt won't be part of it though. Probably Usyk vs Parker.

Joshua has the WBO belt. Unifications precede mandatories.

Kabayel vs. Pulev FOR ALL THE BELTS ... and the end of the sport as we know it. (LOL)

You DO understand that Arum, Warren, Finkel, Wilder, Fox, ESPN, Las Vegas, Raiders Stadium, and thousands of ticket buyers all wanted Wilder-Fury III ... and alternate dates in January and February were offered by the PPV distributors and the stadium ... but the ONLY person who insisted on backing out and fighting in December against someone else was Fury, right? Because, he was.

You DO understand how rare it is in this century for the RING heavyweight champ to fight a #1 or #2 Ring contender, don't you? Those opportunities don't come around often. This was signed.

We'll see how many people want Fury-Kabayel when it's offered on PPV in the UK. Because they won't even bother in the U.S. It'll be buried on ESPN+ while everyone is watching football that Saturday afternoon.

Enjoy Fury-Coopman. I'm sure it'll be everything you hoped for.

Well the two countries have such different models. In the UK we charge 15-25 dollars for a PPV and you aren't necessarily paying anything in original subscription - so total cost, twenty bucks. In the US they seem to run up to 100 dollars plus, in addition to a subscription.

    I hope nobody would broadcast Fury-number 5 contender/prospect/whatever for a hundred bucks!

You seem so bitter and confused.

I haven't even picketed for "Fury-Coopman". You just make these things up. I would rather see Fury-Hunter than Fury-Wilder, for reasons given. Why do you think that equates to Fury-Coopman. DO you think that?

What i've been talking to you about isn't the fights, i've been trying to make you understand why some people want to see certain fights ahead of other fights. But it's utterly impossible. You seem completely determined to disagree with any and all arguments that exist against having Fury-Wilder three in 2022 IF Wilder proves himself between now and then. It's very very odd.

    (LOL)

And we'll see how many "people" want Fury-Kabayel. Can't wait to find out.

Bob Arum and Frank Warren, crying through tears earlier this morning, leaving a meeting with Raiders' stadium officials and their mega-million gate, and heading to the airport to announce Tyson Fury-Agit Kabayel.

Firstly, that fight hasn't been made yet. But how desperate are you for it to be that fight? You want it so badly, because you think it is the one you can complain most loudly about. You must have mentioned it thirty-forty times in the last few days, literally.

If it's made, it won't be very popular. Fury-Wilder three would be more popular. Nobody is denying this. This is a strawman you are producing do enhance whining. Nobody is saying everyone wants to see it, nobody is saying it will be universally popular. All i am saying is that some people - some people - real people - people who exist - DO NOT WANT TO SEE FURY-WILDER 3.

Try to understand this before one of us dies.

Yes but after they announce that fight, they win and secure a mega bucks two fight deal with AJ

    Logic

Meanwhile Wilder will regret turning down that DAZN offer for ever

Arum and Warren would've happily taken their share of Fury Wilder 3, but, news flash, they'll be even more happy to take their share of at least two fights between Fury and AJ. That's two fights for the undisputed HW Championship of the world, first time since Lennox Lewis, all the marbles etc etc. They're going to make a fortune and they do it without risking a lucky punch from Wilder or more 'surprising' cards like we saw at the Staples Centre. Plenty of greenbacks to dry those tears...

There's a bit that could go wrong, but the big money isn't for Wilder, that's for sure.

Calm down, Dubble. There's other guys out there, the world is bigger than Deontay Wilder.
