Putting all the complete rubbish aside I've read on this site tonight, I would like to start this thread to pay credit to both fighters for providing the sort of fight that makes me a boxing fan. Both men epitomise all that is right about boxing. They've put on a great show together twice, they've got chins of steel, solid skills and huge hearts. Most impressively, their respect for each other is post-event was brilliant. As fans of the sport, you might prefer a pure technician like Ward - but you must at least respect both fighters. On a sadder note, one of those scores, provided by an American judge, was embarrassing and on a par with the Tillerman card of the last fight. I just don't understand how scores like that happen. Starting to think judges should be made to sit in soundproof rooms, watching three tvs with no commentary.
Amen brother. Their chins and heart have never been in question but **** me, they took some punishment tonight. Can't imagine either guy will be the same after that and i'd like to see Kessler retire before his vision deteriorates further tbh. Froch definitely won for me, bu 118-110 was far too wide. Absolute warriors, love both guys to bits!
Well said mate. These two fighters are great examples of everything I love about this sport. They showed skill, heart and granite chins. You could see just how much this fight meant to both men. As long as we have fighters like this our sport is in good health.:good
