    True...but realistically, what are the chances of him not taking this fight? To remain a legitimate factor in the sport, he really needs this one, no?

    Shane didn't so much as talk to Floyd when Floyd mentioned his name. I never took it as Shane not wanting to fight Floyd. Shane had big fights at the time Floyd was around, and he fought them.

    You already know how I truly feel about this fight not being made. Long before the failed negotiations began, I predicted that this fight would never be made. I truly feel that Floyd never had the intention of fighting Manny Pacquiao, and unfortunately so did Bob Arum. i felt that if Pac had conceded to Mayweather's demands about the period of drug testing, something else would detoured Floyd from making this fight happen. The fact that Pac and Arum didn't concede only shows that both parties are to blame for not making this fight happen though.

    So you are in agreement that the only logical choices that Floyd has are Pac and Shane at 147? So why would you state that this idea is comical?

    Floyd needs to take this fight in order to remain a legitimate factor in the sport. If he doesn't take this fight, i really don't think anyone besides his fans will care anymore.
